Luxeed R7
The Luxeed R7 is a fastback SUV coupe that quickly became the brand’s best-seller after launching in September 2024, with over 73,000 units delivered to date. At 4,982mm long, it’s actually 47mm longer than a BMW X6, with a sloping roofline and slanted bonnet contributing to a genuinely low 0.219 Cd drag coefficient.
Built on Huawei’s Tuling platform with front double wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension, the R7 offers up to 512 hp and, in range-extender EREV form, a genuinely enormous combined range of up to 1,627km. Continuous variable damping comes standard across the range. The 2026 update brought a redesigned front bumper with active air intakes, a new emblem, and a 16.1 inch central touchscreen, nearly 13% larger than before, alongside Huawei’s latest 896-channel LiDAR fitted standard on every trim.
The Luxeed R7 starts from 259,800 yuan in China, around £28,400 converted. It has not launched in the UK, and remains a China-only model for now.
