Kaiyi X7
The Kaiyi X7 is the brand’s established mid-size SUV, launched in 2022 and offered with either five or seven seats, positioned as a genuine rival to the Hyundai Tucson and Chery’s own Tiggo 8 Pro Max in markets where all three are sold. It received an updated look for 2026, adding quad exhaust tips and a sportier front end alongside its existing family-friendly proportions.
Two turbocharged petrol engines are offered: a 1.6 litre producing around 194 to 197 hp, or a more powerful 2.0 litre with 254 to 256 hp and all-wheel drive, both paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. In the Philippines, a plug-in hybrid version pairs a 135 hp 1.5 litre engine with an electric motor for around 150km of electric-only range and a combined range approaching 1,200km. Standard equipment includes 20 inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated power seats, a 360 degree camera and Level 2 driver assistance.
The Kaiyi X7 starts from around AED 78,000 in the UAE, roughly Β£16,800 converted, or from around β±1,499,000 for the plug-in hybrid version in the Philippines. It has not launched in the UK, and remains focused on the UAE, Philippines and other export markets.
