Shangjie H5
The Shangjie H5 is the debut model of Shangjie, a mid-size five-seat SUV measuring 4,780mm long with a 2,840mm wheelbase, and the most affordable car to carry Huawei’s HIMA badge. It launched in China in September 2025, was refreshed in June 2026 with an upgraded driver assistance system, and has been a strong seller, with around 26,000 delivered in China during 2025 alone.
Both electric and range-extender versions are offered. The electric version uses a single rear motor producing 150kW (201hp) or 180kW (241hp), with either a 64.6kWh or 80kWh battery giving between 525 and 655km of CLTC range and 0-62mph in around 7.3 to 7.9 seconds. The range-extender version pairs a 1.5 litre petrol engine with a 32.6kWh battery, offering 235km of electric-only driving and a combined range of 1,360km. Every version has Huawei’s HarmonySpace cockpit with a 15.6 inch touchscreen, and the refreshed car adds Huawei’s ADS 4.1 driver assistance system with a 192-channel LiDAR on higher trims.
The Shangjie H5 starts from 159,800 yuan for the range-extender and 165,800 yuan for the electric, rising to 199,800 yuan for the top electric trim, roughly £17,460 to £21,840 converted. It has not launched outside China, and no international plans have been announced.
