Lepas L8 SUV
The Lepas L8 is the model that introduced the brand to the UK, a mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV that opened for pre-order in July 2026 with first customer deliveries following in September. Built on the same platform as the Chery Tiggo 9, it’s sized to slot between rivals like the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson and the larger Skoda Kodiaq, giving it a genuinely spacious cabin for the class.
Two trims are offered, Essence and Elevate, both using the same Lepas Super Hybrid system: a 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an 18.4 kWh battery for an electric-only range of up to 56 miles. Combined WLTP economy is rated at 403.5mpg with CO2 emissions of just 21g/km, placing it in the lowest 10% company car benefit-in-kind tax band, a genuinely strong number for fleet and salary sacrifice buyers.
DC rapid charging takes the battery from 30 to 80% in around 20 minutes. Standard equipment on the Essence trim already includes 19 inch alloy wheels, LED lights all round, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 13.2 inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.25 inch driver display, with the Elevate trim adding a more premium look and additional refinement on top.
Lepas L8 Interior
The Lepas L8 starts from £34,900 for the Essence trim, rising to £37,900 for Elevate, and comes with a 7 year, 100,000 mile vehicle warranty, an 8 year, 100,000 mile battery warranty, and up to 7 years of RAC roadside assistance included. A fully electric version of the L8 is expected to join the range in 2027.
