Zeekr 001
The Zeekr 001 was Zeekr’s very first model, launched in China in October 2021, and it set the design template the brand has followed ever since. It’s best described as a shooting brake, something between a saloon and an estate, with a low, sporty roofline that makes it stand out from the sea of SUVs most other manufacturers lead with.
European buyers, currently in markets like the Netherlands, can choose between rear wheel drive and all wheel drive versions, with power ranging from around 268 hp up to 537 hp in dual motor form, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds in the fastest version. A large battery gives a WLTP range of up to 620 km, or around 385 miles, among the longest of any electric car currently on sale in Europe.
The Zeekr 001 is not yet sold in the UK, and pricing and warranty terms here have not been confirmed. In the Netherlands it currently starts from around β¬54,990, giving a useful early indication of where UK pricing might eventually land once the brand launches.
