Zeekr 9X

The Zeekr 9X is the brand’s new flagship, a huge, six seat luxury SUV that launched in China in September 2025 to an extraordinary response, collecting more than 40,000 orders within the first hour of going on sale. It sits at the very top of the Zeekr range, both in size and in ambition.

Every 9X uses a plug in hybrid system Zeekr calls SEA Super Hybrid, combining a petrol engine with multiple electric motors for a combined output starting at 898 hp and rising to as much as 1,381 hp in the fastest trims, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h time of around 3.1 seconds in top spec form. Electric only range reaches up to around 186 miles on the Chinese CLTC test cycle, which tends to be more generous than the WLTP figures used in Europe and the UK.

The Zeekr 9X has not launched outside China, and UK pricing, specification and warranty terms are all yet to be confirmed. Chinese pricing converts to roughly Β£49,600 for the entry model, though actual UK pricing, if and when it arrives, could differ substantially.
