Bestune is FAW Group’s mainstream, mass-market brand, sitting below the luxury Hongqi in FAW’s line-up as the group’s higher-volume, more accessible marque. Founded in 2006 and originally known as Besturn before a rebrand, Bestune has spent much of its history producing conventional petrol sedans and SUVs, though it’s increasingly expanding into electric and range-extender models.

ShareBestune Overview
The brand’s best-seller by a clear margin is the T77, a compact SUV that’s remained Bestune’s top performer since launching in 2018, while the B70 sedan has been in continuous production since 2006, making it one of the longer-running nameplates from any Chinese manufacturer. FAW Group exported around 125,000 vehicles in 2024, up more than 36% year-on-year, with Bestune models among those reaching markets including Russia, where the T77 has previously been sold locally as the Lada X-Cross 5.
Bestune has not launched in the UK, and remains a China and select-export-market brand for now, no UK plans have been announced.
