Jetour is a Chery Holding brand, sitting alongside Chery, Omoda, Jaecoo, Exeed and Lepas, but built around a distinct identity of its own: travel and adventure-focused SUVs and pickups, marketed under what the brand calls its “Travel+” strategy. It’s a genuinely huge operation, Jetour built its millionth vehicle in January 2024, just 65 months after launch, and sold around 560,000 cars in 2025 alone, with a target of 800,000 for 2026.
Jetour Overview
Jetour has actually already launched in Europe, starting in Poland in September 2025 through a local distributor, with plans for 30 dealerships there by mid-2026, and a dedicated European operation now covering multiple markets. Unlike many Chery-group brands, Jetour’s European range leads with plug-in hybrids rather than pure combustion, specifically to sidestep the EU’s tariffs on Chinese-made electric cars, and the brand has said that if the European push succeeds, it will consider building cars there rather than only importing them. Jetour has not launched in the UK, and no UK plans have been announced.
The range is genuinely broad. In China and other markets, it spans the compact T1, the larger T2, the X70 family, the value-focused Dashing, and the striking Zongheng G700 and F700, a proper off-road SUV and pickup truck respectively, alongside an entire second sub-brand, Soueast, aimed at urban buyers. Jetour also has a fully electric model, the T0, due by the end of 2026, its first outside the plug-in hybrid and petrol powertrains that have defined the brand so far.
