Stelato S9
The Stelato S9 is a full-size luxury sedan, and the model that launched the Stelato brand, pitched directly against the Mercedes-Benz EQS, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6L. At 5,160mm long, it’s genuinely substantial, around 200mm longer than a Lucid Air and 100mm longer than a BMW i5, though 230mm shorter than the range-topping BMW i7. It was significantly updated in November 2025, gaining a new front and rear light design and, for the first time, its own dedicated logo rather than simply displaying the Stelato name in lettering.
Four versions are offered, split between fully electric and range-extender EREV options. The electric rear-wheel-drive version uses a 227kW motor for a 0 to 62mph time of 6.0 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive version adds a second 158kW front motor, cutting that to just 3.92 seconds. The top electric trim uses a 100kWh battery for a CLTC range of up to 816km, while the EREV versions offer a combined range as high as 1,170km. Standard technology includes Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 driver assistance system, built around four LiDAR sensors, 4D radar and 36 total sensors, plus HarmonyOS running the infotainment. The range-topping Ultra trim adds genuinely lavish touches, including zero-gravity seats and a 32-inch lift-up projection screen for rear passengers.
The Stelato S9 starts from 309,800 yuan in China, around £33,900 converted, rising to 449,800 yuan for the top trim. It has not launched outside China, and no international plans have been announced.
