Tank 500

The Tank 500 is the brand’s larger flagship, sized to sit between the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and full-size 300 Series, and offered with genuinely serious off-road hardware to match. It’s already on sale in right-hand-drive form in markets including Australia and Malaysia, where reviewers have directly compared its road presence to the Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol.

Power comes from either a turbo-petrol V6 or a turbo-petrol hybrid four-cylinder, with a plug-in hybrid version also revealed. Seven seats are standard, and the cabin has been praised for genuinely comfortable, generously proportioned front seats with strong under-thigh support, a deploying side step and A-pillar grab handle make getting in and out easier given how tall the body-on-frame construction sits.

The Tank 500 has not launched in the UK. In Australia, pricing starts from around AU$76,000, roughly £39,500 converted. Were it to launch in the UK, one industry analyst has suggested a realistic price bracket of £55,000 to £60,000, positioning it as a value alternative to the Land Cruiser, Defender 110 and Ineos Grenadier, all of which start well above that figure, though nothing has been officially confirmed.
