Roewe D6
The Roewe D6 is an affordable compact electric sedan, launched in spring 2025 with genuinely striking styling, distinctive double-row headlights shaped like inverted boomerangs, and a narrow full-width light strip across the rear. In April 2025, a pure electric D6 set a Guinness World Record for the lowest energy consumption ever achieved by a mass-produced electric vehicle, a genuine engineering credential for what’s otherwise a value-focused family car.
A single electric motor produces between 129 and 143 hp depending on version, paired with either a 42.8kWh or 53.95kWh LFP battery for a CLTC range of up to 520km. Inside, the minimalist cabin includes two wireless phone charging trays built into a raised centre console, a digital instrument cluster, and a 12.8 inch central touchscreen.
The Roewe D6 has not launched in the UK, and remains a China-only model. Pricing details for the current range were not confirmed in the available research, though it’s positioned as one of Roewe’s more affordable electric options.
