GWM Poer 300
The GWM Poer 300, badged Poer300 by GWM UK, is a full-size diesel double-cab pickup and the only model in the UK Poer range. Sold in Australia and New Zealand as the GWM Cannon, it went on sale here in September 2025 and is aimed at the Isuzu D-Max, Ford Ranger and KGM Musso, undercutting most of them on price while offering a generous standard equipment list.
Power comes from a 2.4 litre four-cylinder turbo diesel producing 183PS and 480Nm, driving all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic gearbox. It has switchable four-wheel drive, a low-range gearbox and a rear locking differential, with 230mm of ground clearance and approach and departure angles of 27 and 25 degrees. Towing capacity is 3,500kg and payload is 1,050kg. Claimed economy is 32.7mpg on the WLTP cycle, and 0-62mph takes around 11 seconds.
Three trims are offered. The entry Lux includes a 12.3 inch touchscreen, LED headlights, wireless phone charging and leatherette seats. The Ultra adds heated and ventilated leather front seats, a 360 degree camera, a sunroof and ambient lighting, while the Vanta adds black exterior styling. Prices are £31,495 for the Lux, £34,830 for the Ultra and £36,830 for the Vanta, all on the road and excluding VAT, with a 5 year, 125,000 mile warranty.
