Skywell BE11
The Skywell BE11 was, and remains for now, the only model Skywell has ever sold in the UK, a mid-size electric SUV that launched here in November 2024 and received a substantially revised version for the 2026 model year, priced from £31,990, following what Skywell described as a comprehensive update based on journalist and consumer feedback.
Despite the update, sales never recovered. The BE11 managed fewer than 150 total UK registrations across roughly two years on sale, a genuine sales flop against far more successful Chinese rivals launching in the same period. In June 2026, Skywell’s sole UK importer, Innovation Automotive, abruptly ceased trading, and with no other route to market, new BE11 sales in the UK have halted as a direct result. Skywell is looking for a new UK distributor, but nothing has been confirmed, and existing owners currently face genuine uncertainty over warranty claims, servicing and parts supply.
Remaining unsold stock was passed to a third-party used car dealer, V12 Sports and Classic, and has been advertised at steep discounts, in some cases over £20,000 below the original list price, briefly making the BE11 one of the cheapest ways to buy a new-condition electric SUV in the UK, if a genuinely uncertain one to own. It is not currently possible to buy a new Skywell BE11 through any official Skywell channel in the UK.
