Geely Galaxy E5
The Geely Galaxy E5 is a compact electric SUV that launched in July 2025 and quickly became one of the brand’s best-sellers, moving nearly 7,000 units in a single month as recently as June 2026. It’s a straightforward, well-priced family EV rather than a technology showcase, sized to compete with the BYD Atto 3 and similar mainstream electric SUVs.
A single 160kW front motor drives the E5 to 62mph in 6.9 seconds, with two LFP battery options: a 60.2kWh pack good for 530km of CLTC range, or a larger 68.4kWh pack stretching that to 610km. DC rapid charging takes just 18 minutes to go from 30 to 80%. At 4,615mm long with a 2,750mm wheelbase, it offers a genuinely spacious cabin for the class, with seating for five.
The Geely Galaxy E5 starts from around 101,800 yuan in China, roughly £11,100 converted, rising to 137,800 yuan for the longer-range, best-equipped trim. It has not launched outside China, and no international plans have been announced.
