Bestune B70

The Bestune B70 is a mid-size sedan that’s been in continuous production since 2006, making it one of the longest-running nameplates of any Chinese manufacturer. The original B70 was developed on the same Ford CD3 platform underpinning the Mazda6, and the model has been through three full generations since, the current third-generation car arriving in 2020 as the first Bestune built on FAW’s own FMA modular architecture.

The current B70 uses a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine producing 169 hp, paired with either a six-speed automatic or manual gearbox, though a November 2023 facelift dropped the smaller engine in favour of a 2.0 litre turbo across the whole range, paired exclusively with an Aisin six-speed automatic. A range-topping B70S crossover-styled variant is also offered, with leather and Alcantara upholstery and the same 3D holographic assistant found on the T77.

The Bestune B70 has not launched in the UK, and remains a China-only model. Chinese sales have declined in recent years, from over 41,000 units in 2024 to around 15,400 in 2025, as the brand shifts more attention toward its newer electric and hybrid models.
