Maextro V800
The Maextro V800 (alongside its shorter V680 sibling) is the brand’s second model and first move beyond sedans, a genuinely luxurious minivan that officially launched on 5 August 2026, built on JAC’s Tuling Longxing platform. At 5,495mm long with a 3,430mm wheelbase, the V800 is the larger of the pair, while the V680 trims both dimensions down to 5,320mm and 3,290mm respectively, both share the same 2,006mm width and 1,850mm height.
Both versions use the same range-extender EREV powertrain, a 1.5 litre turbocharged petrol engine acting purely as a generator, paired with a 65kWh CATL battery Maextro calls “Freevoy.” Electric-only range runs to around 275 miles on the WLTP cycle, with a combined range stretching as far as 1,335km CLTC once the petrol generator is included. Design details lean into the same luxury-tech positioning as the S800, a distinctive “Sun-Ray” patterned front emblem, optional million-pixel smart projection headlights capable of displaying signal patterns, and full-colour rear taillights built from over 5,000 individual light elements.
The Maextro V680 starts from 648,000 yuan in China, around £70,900 converted, with the larger V800 spanning 766,000 to 1,018,000 yuan across its three trims. It has not launched outside China, and no international plans have been announced.
