Geely EX5
The Geely EX5 was the car that launched the Geely brand in the UK, arriving in October 2025 as a compact electric SUV pitched against the Kia EV3, Skoda Elroq and similarly sized rivals. It’s built on Geely’s Global Intelligent New Energy Architecture, and comes in three trim levels: SE, Pro and Max.
Every EX5 uses a 215 hp electric motor driving the front wheels, with a 0 to 62 mph time of 6.9 seconds on the SE and Pro, dropping slightly to 7.1 seconds on the heavier, more equipped Max. WLTP range varies by trim, from 255 miles on the Max up to 267 miles on the entry level SE.
The EX5 comes with an unusually long 8 year, 125,000 mile warranty covering both the car and its battery, alongside 4 years of roadside assistance and a free first scheduled service. Charging at up to 160kW allows a 30 to 80 percent top-up in around 20 minutes.
