Onvo L60

The Onvo L60 was the brand’s debut model, a mid-size five-seat electric SUV that’s sold nearly 100,000 units in China since its September 2024 launch. It was significantly updated in June 2026 with NIO’s in-house Shenji NX9031 self-driving chip and, on higher trims, a LiDAR sensor, part of a wider push to bring the group’s latest smart driving technology across the whole Onvo range.

Three trims are offered: Pro, Max+, and Ultra+, with the range-topping Ultra+ adding a 17.3 inch foldable rear ceiling screen, a powered sunshade, and a small onboard fridge. The rear-wheel-drive version weighs just 1,885kg thanks to extensive use of lightweight materials, notably light for the class. As with other NIO Group models, the L60 supports battery swapping, with over 2,500 compatible stations already live across China.

The Onvo L60 starts from 192,800 yuan in China, around £21,100 converted, or 135,800 yuan under NIO’s Battery as a Service scheme, where the battery is rented separately rather than bought outright. It has not launched outside China, and no UK plans have been announced.
