iCaur V23
The iCaur V23 is the brand’s debut model, a small, boxy, fully electric SUV with deliberately retro styling aimed at a younger audience interested in the outdoors. It’s been on sale in China for over a year already, and has since expanded into export markets including South Africa, with a UK launch confirmed to follow.
Two versions are offered: a rear-wheel-drive model with a single motor producing 136 hp and a 59.93 kWh battery for around 360km of range, and an all-wheel-drive version adding a second motor for a combined 211 hp, paired with a larger 81.76 kWh battery stretching range to around 500km. Standard equipment is generous for the price, including a 15.4 inch touchscreen, six airbags, and electrically adjustable front seats, with the AWD version adding a 540 degree camera and an off-road driving mode.
In China, the V23 starts from around £11,000, rising to about £15,000 for the top AWD trim, genuinely inexpensive for what it offers. It has not yet launched in the UK, though a launch has been confirmed, expected to begin with this model.
