Xiaomi YU7
The Xiaomi YU7 is the company’s second car and its first SUV, launched in China in June 2025 on the same Modena platform as the SU7 saloon. Demand at launch was extraordinary even by Xiaomi’s own standards, with 200,000 pre-orders logged within three minutes of order books opening, and by January 2026 the YU7 had overtaken Tesla’s Model Y to become China’s best selling SUV in a single month.
Three versions are offered. The rear wheel drive Standard uses a 315 hp motor and reaches 62 mph in 5.88 seconds, the dual motor Pro steps up to 365 kW and 4.27 seconds, and the range topping Max produces 681 hp for a genuinely rapid 3.2 second sprint. CLTC range spans from 472 miles up to 519 miles on the largest 101.7 kWh battery.
The Xiaomi YU7 is not currently sold in the UK. Chinese pricing starts from around Β£27,400 converted, though as with the SU7, actual UK pricing is expected to differ once the car is properly homologated and imported following Xiaomi’s planned 2027 European launch.
