Avatr 07

The Avatr 07 is a mid-size SUV built specifically to take on the Tesla Model Y, launched in China in late 2024 and updated for the 2026 model year with revised styling and equipment. It’s offered with both a fully electric powertrain and Avatr’s Kunlun range extending system, which pairs a petrol engine acting as a generator with the same electric drivetrain.

The updated fully electric version uses an 82.2 kWh CATL Shenxing battery, with a single rear motor producing 338 hp on the entry version, or a combined 590 hp on the dual motor all-wheel-drive version. WLTP-equivalent range runs from around 379 miles up to 404 miles depending on configuration, while the range extended version offers a combined range as high as 746 miles between the battery and a full tank.
