Avatr 12
The Avatr 12 is the brand’s flagship saloon, and it received a substantial refresh at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026, adding a genuinely startling new tri-motor version alongside its existing lineup.
It’s a low, wide four-door with a distinctive windowless rear design, using a high-definition camera and screen in place of a conventional rear windscreen and mirror.
Power now spans a wide range. The dual-motor rear-biased version produces 673 hp, while the new range-topping tri-motor version, which adds a second front motor, produces a combined 955 hp, enough for a 0 to 62 mph time of just 2.9 seconds, genuinely supercar territory for a four door family car.
A single-motor rear-wheel-drive entry version is also available for buyers who prioritise range and value over outright pace. CLTC range runs from around 404 miles on the multi-motor versions up to 435 miles on the single-motor version, and an EREV range-extended version is also offered, stretching combined range as far as 789 miles.
Every version comes with Huawei’s latest Qiankun ADS 4 driver assistance system as standard, built around a roof mounted LiDAR sensor.
The Avatr 12 has not launched in the UK.
Chinese pricing for the refreshed 2026 lineup spans roughly Β£29,000 to Β£46,200 converted, with no confirmed UK pricing or launch date.
