Hongqi EH7
The Hongqi EH7 is the brand’s more mainstream electric saloon, launched as the first model under Hongqi’s dedicated New Energy sub-brand and positioned explicitly to undercut rivals like Tesla and XPeng on price while offering comparable specification and generous range.
The range topping 820 Pro version uses a 253 kW rear motor paired with a large 111 kWh battery for a claimed CLTC range of up to 820km, around 509 miles, among the longest of any electric saloon in its class. Fast charging from 10 to 80 percent takes around 20 minutes in warm conditions, though considerably longer in cold weather.
The Hongqi EH7 is sold in China, with pricing there converting to roughly £25,000 to £33,700 depending on trim. It has not launched in the UK, and no UK pricing or launch date has been confirmed.
