Hongqi HS7
The Hongqi HS7 is a large, conventionally petrol powered SUV, representing the more traditional side of Hongqi’s lineup alongside its growing electric range. It’s aimed at buyers who want the brand’s imposing, formal styling without necessarily wanting to go electric.
Two engine options have been offered across the HS7’s life. A 3.0 litre supercharged engine produces 337 hp and 445 Nm of torque, paired with an 8 speed automatic gearbox and full time four wheel drive, giving a 0 to 62 mph time of 7.8 seconds. A smaller 2.0 litre turbocharged engine, producing 252 hp, was later added as a rear wheel drive alternative.
The Hongqi HS7 is sold in China, with pricing there converting to roughly £30,000 to £50,000 depending on engine and trim. It has not launched in the UK, and no UK pricing or launch date has been confirmed.
