IM L7
The IM L7 was the brand’s very first model, a full-size luxury electric sedan that launched in 2021 and remains IM’s flagship saloon, positioned as a genuine rival to premium electric sedans from established German brands. It was refreshed in February 2024 with revised styling, an optional yoke-style steering wheel, and a meaningful price cut.
Performance was a headline feature from launch, with IM originally claiming a 0 to 62mph time of just 3.9 seconds on the flagship version, genuinely rapid for a full-size luxury saloon. The interior shares much of its technology with the newer LS7 SUV, including a wide passenger entertainment display and a cabin finished to a standard reviewers have generally rated as a genuine strength of the whole IM range.
The IM L7 has sold in far smaller numbers than the more affordable LS6, with the L7 and pricier LS7 combining for just over 1,000 units in the first seven months of 2025. It has not launched in the UK, and no UK plans have been announced.
