IM LS6
The IM LS6 is comfortably IM’s best-selling model, a coupe-styled mid-size SUV that’s been significantly redesigned for 2026, adding a range-extender EREV option for the first time alongside the brand’s existing pure electric versions. Styling is genuinely distinctive, a sloping fastback roofline, retractable door handles, and a drag coefficient of just 0.237 Cd, low even by EV standards.
Four main trims span a wide performance range. The entry single-motor version produces up to 340 hp for around 760km of CLTC range, while the range-topping dual-motor all-wheel-drive version jumps to 787 hp and 800 Nm of torque, enough for 0 to 62mph in as little as 3.48 seconds. The new EREV version, promising a combined range as high as 1,502km, gives buyers who want long-distance flexibility a genuine reason to consider the LS6 over a pure EV rival. LiDAR and an Nvidia Orin chip come as standard even on the entry trim, unusually generous equipment for this price bracket.
The IM LS6 starts from around 209,900 yuan in China, roughly £22,900 converted, rising to 279,900 yuan for the flagship electric Ultra trim. It has not launched in the UK under the IM badge, though it’s sold as the “MG IM6” in some export markets, using MG’s established dealer network.
