Jaecoo 5
The Jaecoo 5 is the brand’s smaller, more affordable SUV, sitting below the original Jaecoo 7 in the lineup and aimed at buyers who want the brand’s rugged design language in a more compact, city friendly package. It arrived in the UK in late 2025, with deliveries beginning that October.
Two trim levels are offered, Pure and Luxury, both built around a straightforward petrol engine, with Jaecoo positioning the 5 as a genuinely well equipped option at a price point that undercuts most conventional petrol SUV rivals. A separate fully electric version, badged the Jaecoo E5, is sold alongside it for buyers who want the same body and character without the petrol engine.
Like the rest of the range, the Jaecoo 5 comes with a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty as standard, with no mileage limit at all for the first three years, giving buyers genuine long term reassurance on what is still, for now, an unfamiliar name in Britain.
