XPeng L03
The XPeng L03 is the compact electric SUV that XPeng hopes will bring its tech to a much wider audience in Britain. At about 4.65 metres long it sits below the XPeng G6, and it takes aim at the Tesla Model Y and the Skoda Enyaq with a sleek coupe-SUV shape, frameless doors and an unusually slippery drag coefficient of 0.228. It was revealed in July 2026, and UK deliveries are expected in 2027.
European versions use LFP batteries and come in four trims. The rear-wheel-drive Standard Range has a 58.3kWh battery, 241bhp and up to 276 miles of WLTP range, while the Long Range steps up to a 71.2kWh battery and up to 323 miles. The all-wheel-drive Performance and Performance Ultra add a second motor for 382bhp and 0 to 62mph in around 4.5 seconds, with up to 273 miles of range. Charging is a highlight, with up to 236kW DC charging and a 10 to 80 percent top-up in about 20 minutes. Standard equipment includes a heat pump and vehicle-to-load power of up to 6kW, and the cabin has a 15.6 inch touchscreen and a head-up display. Towing is rated at up to 1,500kg.
A range-extender version is also due in Europe from autumn, pairing a 37.25kWh battery with a 1.5 litre petrol generator for a quoted total range of up to 1,000km (about 620 miles), with more than 200km (about 124 miles) on electric power alone. Those figures are provisional until final WLTP approval, and it’s not yet confirmed that the UK will get this version.
XPeng L03 UK price and release date
XPeng hasn’t announced UK pricing or specifications yet. For reference, German prices run from β¬35,600 for the Standard Range to β¬46,600 for the Performance Ultra, and UK reports expect a starting price below Β£40,000. That would put it between the entry-level electric hatchbacks and the larger G6 and X9. It’s expected to join them on sale in the UK in 2027, and we’ll update this page when UK details are confirmed.
