XPeng X9
The XPeng X9 is the brand’s flagship, a seven-seat electric MPV that’s now properly on sale in the UK following the G6 SUV. Described by XPeng as “designed to look like a starship,” it’s a genuinely distinctive shape aimed at buyers who might otherwise consider a Volkswagen ID.Buzz, Kia EV9, or Hyundai Ioniq 9, positioning XPeng in a completely different segment to the G6’s SUV rivals.
Three versions are offered, all built on XPeng’s 800V SEPA2.0 architecture, supporting fast DC charging in as little as 12 minutes. The Standard Range and Long Range both use a single 235 kW (320 PS) front motor, reaching 62 mph in 8.2 and 7.75 seconds respectively, with WLTP range of 332 and 382 miles. The range-topping All-Wheel-Drive version adds a second motor for a combined 370 kW (503 PS), cutting the 0-62 mph time to 5.9 seconds, though its larger power draw brings WLTP range down slightly to 360 miles. All three share a 124 mph top speed and rear-wheel steering, which XPeng says gives the 5.3 metre-long X9 a turning circle closer to that of a much smaller car.

UK pricing starts from £74,990 for the Standard Range, £79,990 for the Long Range, and £84,990 for the All-Wheel-Drive version, with deliveries to UK customers beginning in the third quarter of 2026.
