Hongqi E-HS9
The Hongqi E-HS9 is the brand’s full-size electric flagship SUV, a genuinely enormous seven seat vehicle that’s earned itself the nickname the Chinese Rolls-Royce for its imposing presence and thoroughly luxurious cabin, complete with six separate screens and an intelligent sensor equipped steering wheel.
Two performance variants are offered. The lower spec version uses one electric motor on each axle for a combined 430 hp, while the top trim adds a more powerful rear motor for a combined 544 hp, enough for a 0 to 60 mph time within 5 seconds despite the car’s considerable size and weight. Hongqi claims a range of around 300 miles on a full charge.
The E-HS9 is sold in China and has reached a small number of export markets, though it has not launched in the UK, and no UK pricing or launch date has been confirmed.
