Omoda 4
The Omoda 4 is a new small SUV and the smallest model in Omoda’s range, sitting below the Omoda 5 and aimed at cars like the Ford Puma, Renault Captur, Nissan Juke and Hyundai Kona. It made its European debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026 and is expected to reach UK showrooms in 2027, after earlier reports had suggested a 2026 arrival.
It shares the T1X platform with the Omoda 5, and the powertrain announced so far is Omoda’s SHS-H full hybrid system. That pairs a 1.5 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and a small 1.83kWh battery, driving the front wheels through a dedicated hybrid transmission. It’s a self-charging setup rather than a plug-in, so it isn’t designed for much electric-only driving. Power, performance and economy figures for the Omoda 4 haven’t been published, though the same system in the Omoda 5 is claimed to return 52.2mpg, against 34.5mpg for that car’s petrol version. An electric version has been widely expected, but Omoda hasn’t confirmed one.
Omoda 4 UK price and release date
UK pricing hasn’t been announced. The Omoda 4 will start below the Omoda 5, which costs from Β£25,915, but Omoda’s UK boss has said it “will not be so cheap”, so don’t expect a bargain-basement price. The brand’s other UK models, such as the Omoda E5, come with a seven-year warranty, though the terms for the Omoda 4 haven’t been confirmed. We’ll update this page when UK specifications and prices are announced. Browse the full range on our Omoda page.
