Leapmotor T03

The Leapmotor T03 was one of two models that introduced the brand to the UK in early 2025, a small electric city car aimed squarely at buyers who want a genuinely affordable way into electric motoring. It’s roughly comparable in size and purpose to the Dacia Spring, though Leapmotor pitches it as offering more interior space than its dimensions suggest, thanks to a floor mounted battery that frees up cabin room.

A single 70 kW motor drives the front wheels, producing 94 hp and a 0 to 62 mph time of 12.7 seconds, not quick, but adequate for city and urban driving, which is really the T03’s intended habitat. The 37.3 kWh battery gives a WLTP range of up to 165 miles.

The T03 comes with a 3 year, 60,000 mile vehicle warranty, shorter than some rivals, though its 8 year, 100,000 mile battery warranty matches the industry norm. Sold through Stellantis’s existing UK dealer network, it remains one of the cheapest new electric cars available in Britain.
