Denza N9
The Denza N9 is Denza’s genuine flagship SUV, a substantial 5.26-metre plug-in hybrid built to take on the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7 and Genesis GV80, at a fraction of the price any of those three would cost. It launched in China in September 2025 as a 2026 model, and has already been confirmed for an Australian debut, putting it well ahead of most Denza models on the path to right-hand-drive markets.
A 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine works alongside three electric motors for a combined output of around 680kW, roughly 911hp, enough for 0-62mph in as little as 3.9 seconds despite the car’s size. Electric-only range is a modest 126 miles on the lenient CLTC cycle, but combined range stretches to a genuinely enormous 809 miles between the battery and a full tank. Standard equipment includes dual-chamber air suspension, Denza’s God’s Eye B driver assistance system with a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, and a cabin built around three separate 2.5K displays plus a 50-inch head-up display.
The Denza N9 starts from 389,800 yuan in China, around Β£42,600 converted, rising to 449,800 yuan for the top trim, around Β£49,150 converted. It has not launched in the UK, and no UK price or launch date has been announced.
