MG Cyberster
The MG Cyberster is a two-seat electric roadster and the spiritual successor to the MG F and TF, launched to mark MG’s centenary in 2024. It’s a deliberate halo car for a brand best known for affordable family models, with scissor doors, a fabric roof and performance that puts it in a different league from anything else MG sells.
Both versions use a 77kWh battery with DC charging up to 144kW. The single-motor Trophy is rear-wheel drive with 335hp, 0-62mph in 5.0 seconds and up to 316 miles of WLTP range. The dual-motor GT adds all-wheel drive and around 496hp (503PS), cutting the sprint to 3.2 seconds, with range falling to 276 miles. Top speed is 121 to 125mph depending on version.
The MG Cyberster costs from £55,245 for the Trophy and £60,245 for the GT, on the road, and is built in China. It comes with MG’s 7 year, 80,000 mile warranty.
